Privacy notice
How we look after your information.
This notice explains what the Ripz & Sipz and Ripz & Hitz website collects, why we keep it, and who sees it. We keep what you send through a form so we can reply to you, we count machine code scans without knowing who scanned, and we do not sell anything or run advertising.
This is the first version of this page. We wrote it from how the site works today, and it is still being reviewed before the site launches.

Who we are
This website belongs to Ripz & Sipz, the business behind the Ripz & Sipz and Ripz & Hitz vending machines. When this notice says we, us or our, it means that business.

What you send us
When you fill in a form on this site, such as the hosting or owning inquiry, the machine problem report or the contact form, we keep what you type into it. That is usually your name, your email address and your message, and sometimes a phone number, a city or the name of your business.
We use it to reply to you about that message and for nothing else. Sending a form does not add you to a mailing list.

When you scan a machine code
Every RIPZ machine has a short code printed on its sticker, and scanning it with your phone's camera brings you to the page for that machine. When you scan one, we record the time, the code, the venue it belongs to, the country you scanned from and whether the device was a phone, a tablet or a computer.
We do not record your name or your IP address, which is the number your internet connection uses to reach a website. We use the count to see which machines people visit.

How we count visits
We count visits to the site with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool from the company that hosts this site. It counts the pages people view without setting cookies and without following you to other websites.

How long we keep it
We keep a form message for as long as we need it to deal with your inquiry and to keep a record that we answered it. If you would like us to delete what you sent, ask us through the contact form on the Help page and we will remove it.

The shop and member accounts
The online shop and member accounts are not open yet. When the shop opens, you will pay on our payment partner's secure checkout page, and your card number will never pass through this site.
We will update this notice before either one opens, and the new version will explain what an account keeps and why.

Children
Our machines are in family friendly venues, but this website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if a child has sent us something, a parent can ask us to delete it.

Changes and questions
If we change this notice, the new version goes on this page with a new date. If you have a question about your information, the contact form on the Help page reaches a person at RIPZ.
