Put a RIPZ in your place.

You give it the wall. We do everything else.
BreweriesSports barsTrampoline parksFamily venues

Hosting a RIPZ means giving a vending machine a wall in your brewery, bar, trampoline park or family venue. We bring the machine, keep it stocked with trading cards, collectibles, squishies and fidget toys, and look after it, so your guests have something to open while they stay awhile. We agree terms with each venue after we have seen the room, which is why there is no price list on this page.

Get ready to stay awhile.

How it works

From a spare wall to a stocked machine.

Getting a machine into your venue takes three steps, and most of the work is ours. This is what happens between your first message and the first pack opened at your bar.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your spot

You fill in the short form on this page with your venue's name, what kind of place it is, the city, and roughly how many people come through in a week. We read every one and reply to set up a visit.

  2. Step 2

We visit and pick the machine

Someone from RIPZ comes to see the room, the wall you have in mind and where the nearest power outlet is. Together we choose the machine format that fits the space and the mix that suits your crowd. The name on the machine follows the kind of place it is in: Ripz & Sipz for breweries, taprooms and bars, Ripz & Hitz for family venues.

  3. Step 3

It lands, and we keep it full

We deliver the machine, set it up and stock it. From then on we restock it, service it and sort out anything that goes wrong, so nothing lands on your staff. Your venue gets its own page on Find a RIPZ, and the code on the machine sends guests straight to it.

What hosting costs, or earns, is something we agree with each venue once we have seen the room. That conversation is part of the visit, so you never have to work it out from a price list.

Where it fits

Where a RIPZ feels at home.

A RIPZ works wherever people have time on their hands and something to celebrate. These are the six kinds of venue we are building for, which brand suits each one, and what we would stock there for its crowd.

  • Ripz & Sipz

    Breweries and taprooms

People settle in here for an hour or two, and a pack of cards is the kind of thing a table opens together. We stock the mix the venue picks, from trading card packs and sports cards to collectibles, squishies and fidgets.

  • Ripz & Sipz

    Sports bars

A game on the screens puts the whole room in the mood for sports cards. A sports bar can lean its machine toward sports card packs, so a group at a table can open a few between plays and compare what they pulled.

  • Ripz & Hitz

    Trampoline parks and batting cages

Kids jump or swing for an hour while parents wait in the lobby, and a machine by the front desk gives everyone something to look forward to afterwards. We stock trading card packs, blind boxes, squishies and fidgets in the mix the venue chooses.

  • Ripz & Hitz

    Family entertainment

Mini golf courses, bowling alleys, arcades and play centres have the crowd the squishies and fidgets were picked for. We stock them beside the trading card packs that kids collect, and a small prize to open at the table is an easy yes for a parent.

  • Ripz & Hitz

    Retail

A toy shop, a game shop or any store with a corner to spare gets a machine that sells while the counter is busy. We stock sealed packs and collectibles, and the slim cabinet or the wall screen fits where a full-size machine would be in the way.

  • Ripz & Hitz

    Malls

A mall sees more families in a day than almost any single venue, and a machine near the play area or the food court gives them something to stop for. We stock the same mix as a family venue, and the slim cabinet fits a concourse without blocking the walkway.

The footprint

Four formats, so one fits your room.

The brand pages show the four machine formats as hardware. Here they are from your side: how much room each one takes, whether it stands on the floor or hangs on the wall, and what it holds, so you can picture it against your own wall before we visit.

  • The large Ripz & Sipz combination cabinet, a full-height black machine with shelves of boxes and packs behind lit glass and a wide delivery bay at the base

    Large combo

    Stands
On the floor, against a wall
    Space
About the size of a tall glass-front cooler, with room in front for two people to stand at the screen.
    Holds
Booster boxes, sealed product, collectibles and the bigger items, lowered gently by the elevator inside.
  • The large card-only Ripz & Sipz cabinet, rows of sealed card packs filling the lit glass from top to bottom

    Large card

    Stands
On the floor, against a wall
    Space
The same footprint as the large combo, so if one fits, the other does too.
    Holds
Trading card packs and sports card packs only, in more rows behind the glass.
  • The slim Ripz & Sipz cabinet, half the width of the large one, a single column of packs behind lit glass

    Slim

    Stands
On the floor, against a wall
    Space
Roughly half the width of the full-size cabinets, so it fits a stretch of wall between a doorway and a table.
    Holds
A smaller mix of packs and collectibles, chosen for the room.
  • The Ripz & Sipz wall kiosk, a black touchscreen mounted on a dark wall showing a grid of products, with no cabinet

    Wall kiosk

    Stands
On the wall, like a television
    Space
It takes no floor space at all, so a hallway, the wall above a counter or the side of a pillar all work.
    Holds
It holds nothing inside, because you choose and pay on the screen and we send what you picked to you.

Every format runs off one ordinary wall outlet and needs an internet connection for card payments, which we work out with you during the visit. The measured sizes arrive with the hardware, and the visit confirms the fit before anything is delivered.

What your guests get

Something to open while they stay awhile.

A RIPZ gives the people in your venue a reason to stay a little longer and a story to take home. This is what a guest gets from the machine on your wall, from the first pack to the next visit.

  • Something to open at the table

A guest taps the screen, pays by card and opens the pack right there, with the table watching. That is the thing we are built around, and it works the same in a taproom on a Friday night as it does in a trampoline park on a Saturday morning.

  • A page of their own for your venue

The code printed on the machine takes a guest to your venue's own page on this site. It shows what is in the machine today, your hours, directions, and whatever else is happening at your place, so the machine also sends people to you.

  • Events at your place

A venue with a RIPZ can host a card-ripping night or a pop-up, where we bring the product and the crowd brings the energy. Each one is listed on your venue's page and on the events page, so your regulars hear about it first.

Tell us about your spot

Let's talk about your wall.

Fill in the short form and we will reply to set up a visit. There is no commitment in asking, and nothing here is a quote: we work out terms with you after we have seen the room.

What happens after you send it

We read every message and reply by email, usually within a couple of days, to set up a time to visit. Have a photo of the wall you have in mind and a sense of where the nearest outlet is, and the visit goes quickly.

How to reach you

We use what you send here to reply to you about this inquiry and nothing else. We do not add you to a list.

Questions venues ask

Before you fill in the form.

These are the questions a venue owner usually has before they get in touch. If yours is not here, put it in the notes on the form above and we will answer it when we reply.

What does it cost to host a RIPZ machine?

We agree terms with each venue after we have visited and seen the room, so there is no fixed price to look up. The conversation about terms is part of that first visit, and nothing is agreed until you are happy with it.

Who stocks the machine and fixes it when something goes wrong?

RIPZ looks after all of it. We deliver the machine, set it up, keep it stocked and service it, and we sort out any problem that comes up. Your staff never have to restock it, count it or call a repair company.

How much space and power does a machine need?

There are four formats, from a full-size cabinet about the size of a tall glass-front cooler to a screen that hangs on the wall and takes no floor space. Every format runs off one ordinary wall outlet and needs an internet connection for card payments. We confirm the fit on the visit before anything is delivered.

What does a RIPZ machine sell?

Both Ripz & Sipz and Ripz & Hitz machines carry the same kinds of things: trading card packs, sports card packs, blind boxes and other collectibles, squishies and fidget toys. We choose the mix with each venue, so a brewery might carry only sports cards. The name on the machine says what kind of place it is in, Ripz & Sipz for bars and taprooms and Ripz & Hitz for family venues.

How do my guests pay?

Guests choose on the machine's touchscreen and pay by card right there, so your bar staff never handle the sale. The machine needs an internet connection for this, which is one of the things we check on the visit.

Will my venue be listed on the RIPZ website?

Every venue with a RIPZ machine gets its own page on Find a RIPZ, with your hours, directions, what is in the machine and any events at your place. The code printed on the machine takes guests straight to that page.
